For V.S. (Herman2) Pictures

Hi Herman,

I read where you said you had been really sick lately, I thought this might perk ya up a little! Below is some of the plants I have gotten to root from you.

From left to right, VdB, Sals Corleone, and Guilbeau!

As you can see the Sals C is the fastest growing one by far!

I was able to root 90% of the cuttings from you, whether or not they all grow into a plant remains to be seen.

I hope you get well real soon.

Hi Cecil:Very good Job,in rooting them.
Yes Sal's Corleone is very strong grower, and I have no doubt it will produce excellent ripe figs for Texas and other Warmer climates.
As for North east it needs more time to show that it can produce ripe fruits early enough and before the frost start.
These year was very cold for figs here and Sal's Corleone did not ripe any fruits in my back yard. They stay green till frost.
But it did last year,so it does have promise.
Best Regards

Cecil,   you did a good job there rooting them i knew you would.
It nice to see small plants outdoors in January somewhere!

Hi Martin,

Ciao Cecil,  could you email me privately and tell me how you got those beautiful pictures posted here.  Others have tried to help me, but I get so confused.  Is it a different procedure than on FF/GW.  Ciao, Thanks,  Maggie

Hi Martin,

Everything that I got from you has leafed out as well, even the Sal's EL. The laundry room window is full and I'm in deep trouble.
