Found Frankenbator.

After reading the post on using incubators to root I went rooting around for my incubator.  The good one is somewhere in storage but I found "Frankenbator".
A long time ago I was hatching out Panther Chameleons so I bought the incubator.  I kept it in the basement when not in use.  One of my friends gave me a cat when another friend moved in to share her house.  This cat was suppose to be very shy (stayed under the bed for 5 years) and had a few other issues.  The cat stayed under the bed for about a week before I dragged it out and put on top of the bed.  After a few times the cat decided life was good and never returned to hiding under the bed.  That when I found out what another issue was.  The cat loved styrofoam with a passion.  First casualty was my incubator.  He ate huge chunks of it.  He was ok but the incubator was ruined.  Enter foam in place insulation.  Incubator was fixed (sort of) and was even used to hatch some chicken eggs a few years ago.  So now I can use Frankenbator to see if it will help root cuttings.  frank.jpg

Our cat was fond of chewing on plastic bags for whatever reason.  Good luck with your efforts!
