Can anyone tell how old this fig tree is?

There is a public notice sign in the window and red solo cups with cuttings in them.I think the tree may be doomed? I am going to find out.I climbed the tree and got cuttings just in case.  

Taller than a 2 story building.  

looks to be 40 to 60 years old but just a guess

That tree looks like an old soul, beautiful trunk! Glad you had the chance to grab cuttings before anything happened to it!
