So, bought a fig tree a couple months ago from a nursery (Popp's Purple).  This little hitchhiker emerged from the soil supplied with the plant - anyone know what kind of a plant it may be?  I was thinking African Violet, but the leaves aren't quite round or nearly fuzzy enough. 

It looks like Spilanthes to me, but it's hard to say with only one small set of true leaves. If it makes your mouth numb it is certainly spilanthes.

Purple Castor Bean. It will own you, if you let it grow.

No. It is extremely poisonous and invasive, apparently. All parts poisonous. Supposedly beautiful. Jon nailed the variety on he nose. Thanks!!!
