Found this tree in my area, ??

Came across this tree, very different leaves, mostly heart shaped. Anyone know what it is?
I tasted one of the figs. They do not have a real strong fig taste but they are very sweet.

I'm not very good at ID, but I would say it looks like a Celeste

That is the Celeste Lowe's sold in 2001.
I had one it makes Celeste looking fruits twice as large and with a more open eye compared to Celeste.
I called that one Megaceleste, and is in Jon Verdick inventory.
Not a bad fig for dry climate but will sour in my rainy humid climate much faster than regular Celeste.
Not a Bad fig, it is a hybrid of Celeste, and also the Flavor and sweetness is more diluted than a regular Celeste.
Here it is next to Regular Celeste and the typical leaf, entire or three lobes.
These are more ripe fruits but ,I have no doubt it is the same plant.
Of course it was sold all over the US at the time.

It is not an LSU Fig,It is just a chance Hybrid.

Thanks for the info Herman. The eye seem to be faily tight and it was very sweet, but we have not had much rain.

It will fill with water if getting ripe in the rain asnd the eye will open more than on other tight eye fig.
I am sure it is a Winner in Jon Verdick San Diego Home, but not here.
