thats heart breaking   can you not put them in a uhaul rental truck and drive it down.   I moved my 10 ft shiffiliara from Atlanta that way  It was in My Living room with vaulted ceiling.   Also fishtail palm.   Maybe too much for you to try.  I might mention that I had other things not trusted to movers.   Joyce

I am not moving, I would get 7 cuttings and all seven cutttings would start. I am keeping a 100 or so trees. The Trees are 3 or 4ft tall, young trees. Rex.

Generous offer. Keeping that many trees in Vermont must involve lots of shuffling come October/November. Your root cellar must look like a fig forest
