I have 10-15 partially built SWC that are available for free if anyone wants them. I ran out of time and room this spring and I am moving too at the end of the month.
They are 5-6 gallon buckets that previously contained grape juice, they would look nice if painted beige. Handles are removed. The upper bucket has lots of drainage holes drilled already. Also a 3.5 inch center hole for wicking. I have 6-8 rough cut (my 14 yo and his buddy cut it, really) inches long, 4 inch PVC for the wicking and as a stand off so the reservoir is greater. They need fill tubes and hole drilled for them, also drainage overflow holes. They all need a bath.
Anyone in the area whom wants them can pm me for my address and take as many as they like, I'll post back when they are gone.
