Fresh cuttings now

Final Update 1-5-2014:  All packages were sent out in the mail today.   I put USPS confirmation on all of them, but no time to send the #'s to each individual.  I enjoyed doing this, but it took up more time than I have.   If you don't get your package by the next Saturday, then PM me and I'll look up the tracking # for it.

East Coasters allow a few more days.  I don't know if the post office still delivers through sleet and snow in your extreme weather.  Also, I hope you pick the cuttings up before they freeze.  You must have some kind of routine in the winter.   I didn't put any damp paper around the cuttings.  I've never had to deal with sustained freezing conditions but you ordered them, so I hope you know.

Did you ever get that feeling that you packaged something wrong, or put the correct cuttings, too skinny, short, or fat cuttings?  Well, that's what happened and I ended up opening some of them up again to double check.   Anyways, up until past 2am last night, trying to figure out if everything was right.   If you aren't satisfied, just let me know and you can get a refund.

In hindsight, I should have just offered only 1 variety or set #'s of each item.   I thought this would only take a couple of hrs, but was so wrong.

For your reference:  Offer was for 5 cuttings for $10.   Strawberry Verte, Corky's Honey Delight, Panache, Black Green, Green Bethlehem, Celeste, Conadria).  ALL gone, welll except for a few Conadria.  If someone who ordered wants them, then I will send them all next weekend to the first person who wants them.

PM sent.

Jake

Thanks, trades being mailed Monday!!!

Don't have time to respond to lots of back and forth questions I offered free cuttings last yr with postage included but way too much work. Not trying to make any money, just limiting requests. Shipping is this or next weekend. Also, if u sent me anything in past, free to u.

Thanks for the most generous offer to share.

Figinatic,
Thanks for the offer! PM sent, but I just saw your last edit and I don't think I made it in under the wire.  If I didn't, please put me down for 5 Corky's Honey Delight instead...
Cheers,
Jim

I'm really regretting not asking for Corky's now, sounds awesome.  And I've been wanting Celeste, too!

I'm pm'ing to see if I can change my order to include them, but if not that's okay.

Thanks again for offering the cuttings and for opening my eyes to Corky's.  I just did some searching through the forum archives, and it really seems like a productive winner.

Ok, sending those cuttings out soon.   Those on the East Coast, I don't know what happens with your packages. I heard it's too cold even to go outside and shovel the snow.  I won't wrap them in damp paper towel so you won't have frozen icicles.  Anyways, they are going out because I just cut them and don't want to store them here. Good luck.

Maybe use plastic wrap for us on the frozen east coast !! If you have a list for next year, please put me on the list for Corky's.

Thanks Again,
Richard

I sure appreciate your efforts.  Thanks for doing this for us.

As for the cold, I'm going to ask my local post office to look out for the cuttings and hold them for me to pick up there.  I've done that before when I've ordered tropicals during winter, and have never lost a plant.

Hope everyone's cuttings arrive safe and sound :)

Hi Fig,

No snow or storms to slow the USPS between you and me.   Cuttings arrived in my PO Box today in good order.        Wow…. these are some handsome cuttings!  Fresh, husky little babies, ready to root..... :)

Thanks so much for all efforts, a very nice selection of figs and affordable price.

 Hello Figfinatic,

Great job of packing and they arrived in great shape! Well done!

Thank you,

Beautiful cuttings arrived today, and with some bonus extras, too!

Thanks again figfinatic, this was awesome of you to do :)

How do you prefer to be paid?

Figfinatic,
I received your package of Conadria and Corky's Honey Delight cuttings in the mail today.  They survived the trip to NJ and are in great shape!  It has warmed up considerably over the last few days compared to earlier in the week, so maybe that helped a bit.  The wrapping was excellent and the variety of cuttings (long, short, skinny, fat) was just fine -- no complaints here.
Thanks for all your hard work.  I have yet to do a bulk cutting offering, but when I do I will surely be enlisting the help of my kids (probably with pay!).  Too bad it ended up being a chore for you -- you know what they say: no good deed goes unpunished!!!!
Cheers,
Jim
