frozen figs

I had quite a lot of green figs on my bush. The sudden freeze hit, then warmed up. The figs are slightly soft. Will the flavor be gone? Can I pick them and put them in the freezer to cook later? Or did I lose them? 

You could cook them but they probably won't be sweet or have any flavor. Add some sugar and if nothing else they'd be a healthy addition to some dish.

maybe you make a Preserved Fig out of them...just takes light boiling, let it cool off then make the syrup out of sugar, some lemon juice and clovers, bring it all , including the figs to a gentle boil and cool off again (repeat this atleast twice)then jar them.

We usually cook the green figs under meat. Does that sound workable with the pre-frozen figs?
