I had never tasted a fresh fig until this summer (I had just been hoping I'd like them).  Turns out they're delicious!  Now I'm looking forward to bigger trees and bigger harvests :)

DD's VdB was rotten, the Alma figs were sweet and good, and the Hardy Chicago was outstanding.

Congratulations! That is the nice thing about HC, such a great fig and it is easy to obtain.
