Just saw my friend charles w in Houma LA had a successful ebay sale of red lebanese bekka valley. Congrats charles.( My CDDG had me waiting months, but finally is a young tree. Appreciate it.)

The story. A friend, beginner figgy, did me a solid and helped construct my greenhouse last year. I gave him some rooted cuttings this spring, one being red lebanese bekka valley. he called me today saying he had given the red lebanese to a friend in return for a favor, then was chagrinned to see how much Charles got for his on ebay.

 He tried to get it back, but his friend was watching  ebay too.  Too late.  I have another extra red lebanese. i guess I should give him another?

He would remember the lesson better if you charged him for the second one! ;)

what are friends for, give him another one.. and tell him not to put it on the ebay until he can make himself a back up :) 

He was doing someone else a good turn... give him another but assure him it is his last and now owes you some yard work....

No way! Give him something else and air layer instructions and they can sort it out. They will both be better off.
