I have few cuttings with roots exposed on top of the soil. I just noticed that they have fuzzy things around the root. Too small for me to take pix.

Are these molds, or is it just part of the root? If the night temp is above 50, I would leave them outdoor, but it will be low 40 tonight.

I've never seen a root mold without first turning brown.  So if it is white, with fuzz, then it's almost certainly healthy root hairs.

Probably fungi of some sort, possibly mycorrhizae, a symbiotic form of fungi beneficial to the plant.
