garden and stuff

Well, this year was an excercise in frustration! Getting a puppy - OMG she is freakin cute!, Glenns health issues, the wacky weather, the birds and of course training the puppy.

Last year I watered every night, weeded on weekends, and of course was diligent with fertilizing AND the varden was beautiful and I was so proud of it the cirst year. Lets just say I fell shortan on every point this year and it looks it LOL LOL LOL!! Thankfully I did not plan on the garden keeping us alive with the bounty (lack) of the harvest.

In place of one season of gardening I am on my way to having a well behaved dog for years to come. Of course I know the training never really stops but she still is doing very well - most people don't believe she is only 7 months old.

I still have cuttings rooting - they are way over do to get potted, and I still plan on rooting some more in the next week or so - I think there is enouh time for growth before winter.

Crossing my fingers for a second fig crop !

good luck. a well trained dog is a treasure.
