Garnsery White (Seedless) Fig ?

This is what I found in a local "rural" nursery today.

I have not heard of this name myself.
Is this a made up name (by the nursery that has grown it) for a fig that someone can identify as a different variety in this forum? Or is this a real name that I haven't come across with YET.
Can anybody recognize this fig/name or both ?

It is owned and ran by a Japanese older man.
I was very impressed by the entire setup of the nursery and especially the Classical Music in the background.
Seriously! Classical Music...he said it's very important to play music to the plants, and ...ether it was a coincidence and a really good lighting due to the high 80's or the plants were really benefiting from the music.

So, I asked him straight forward, if I could pay him to get a branch and he said OK, LOL
If you ask me... wasn't a bad deal at all.
$10 for this as tip. I was happy.

Yes, it's a known variety.  I have a small plant of it.  How could you justify paying $10 for "a promise"???!!! LOL

I wished to give him tip Harvey, he was a sweet sole of an old man. :)

Belleclare nursery had this fig for sale.  I will look up the list and tell you the # unless you beat me to it.

Harvey,
can you tell somethings about this variety?
How did you decide to have one/ the taste/ growth etc... is it a good fig?

BC # 104

huh, found it too,

Thanks Ed,
here, it says..."#104 Garnsey Seedless- Large round, yellow/green seedless. Sweet fruit flavor, golden/amber center. From

Durling's Nursery, California. This one can tolerate 110-120F hot temperatures."

Yeah, lol

Aaron You did it again, bravo great find! The leaves look almost mulberry like, very nice!

I didn't do anything Christo, I swear I am innocent, LOL

BTW, the main plant was 6' tall and was being sold for $169.00  Ouch!!

Aaron, is this the nursery on York Blvd in Eagle Rock? If so, the owner Mr, Lee is Korean, but yea they play classical music and offer cold tea. Maybe it isn't them.  But yes, I also bought a Garnsey, a large healthy one over a year ago. hasn't produced yet, except for one single fig the month that I planted it,  so I am curious. Any updates? I have found almost no reviews or information on it.

Hi Guia.

HarveyC serms to know some about it and hes growing the tree...maybe he can give you more info.
