Genovese Nero breba 2015

One of the best breba that you will ever taste. Doesn't compare to the main, but is still awesome. GN has that deep berry taste and always filled with that nectar/honey. The weight of the largest was 77 grams.
As far as breba go, this one gets a 10.

Thanks Christian. How have you been?

That's great, Art. I'm a few days away from trying my first, and happy to hear your report. Thanks!

Very valued photos. Thanks Art. I'm still waiting on one breba to ripen. I had some brebas on a branch that I air layered but they fell off. When this breba ripens I will post a photo of it to compare to yours.

I 've been good buddy! How about yourself?
After a mild winter the spring was too cold and windy.
But now we had some hot days fig season looks promising so far.
I also aquired some new varieties via Phil and some local ones.
But i am almost out of space so i have to sort some out when they got big.

A 10 for flavor and 77 grams to boot!  Can't wait until mine starts producing figs.

Great looking fig

Art once again, you show us beautiful fruit and put us all to shame. Beautiful stuff man. Can't wait to try mine someday!

Looks small to me. Mine are huge for brebas and main crop are slightly smaller. I posted
pictures last year.

thank you for sharing. my fig is Rob's Genovese Nero, purchased from Harvey at Correia Farms. can you please disclose your origin. thank you again for the great pictures

Nick, mine is not the Rob's GN. Do a search from last year. You can see my main crop figs.

Rafael & Steve,
Your plants should grow fast. They like large containers.

Congratulations!  They look great!

Hi Art.
Once again you make my mouth water. Enjoy.

Hi Vito,
I think you already have GN. If not let me know. You should grow this one in Florida.

Hi Art.
Yes I do have it, thanks to a very generous member.
Our moving to Florida has been delayed for now.
Vito

It looks awesome! Is this the same Genovese nero that comes from rafed? If so that is the one I want when I can come across it.

Yeah, that's the one.

Nice looking figs Art. I've been trying to root this variety for the second time and last week one died and the other one is started to wilt. I couldn't sleep the other day thinking about it

Hey Kubota1 may I please see a picture of your leaves thank you.

Art,
This is a great fig
Congratulations.
One day I shall have one in a piece of ground !
