This "unknown" remains one of my favorites. Big, sweet, and juicy. It seems to need a fair bit of heat to develop full flavor--there has been a jump in sweetness over the past couple of days as we've started breaking 100 degrees.
WOW! I wonder how it would do with some high humidity. Is the name 'Georgia* White" because it came from Georgia?
Yes, a member in Georgia bought it, labeled as a celeste, which it is not. There have been forum discussions about it in the past; here's one with information about it:http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post/6082105
Is that main crop or breba?
Breba.
Looks good
That sure does look good.
Those brebas look delicious Ken. My Georgia White Hybrid did not have any brebas this year, but it has main crop figs growing on it and I am looking forward to tasting them this year!
Thanks Joe; let me know how it does for you in Phoenix.
Yep, those pictures are making me hungry. Nice looking fig!
