Getting Deli Containers - Your Method

Anyone have advice how to get deli containers? I approached my neighborhood deli and asked if they sold them, thinking the person would just offer me some. He said no, firmly, that they're only for people who buy things. It backfired.

Anyone want to share your methods of getting deli containers that do not involve purchasing a large amount of coleslaw or macaroni salad?

We get ours from a restaurant supply store

Few years back at one store they gave about 5 of them to me but its
probably different at each store and with each person one is dealing with.

You could always try to talk to a manager, they'd have a better idea how much supplies cost and what not.

I recently bought someat one of the dollar stores, costing a pack of 3 for a dollar.

@dizzymizzy, I just bought deli containers from Smart & Final, 32oz in packs of 50 for 7-8 bucks... I'm going to use them for cover to my one gallon pots.

This is the cheapest I found 12.5 cents each, no tops, including shipping to NJ. I didn’t think I’d be around long enough to use 500 so I bought a 100 at my local Chinese restaurant.
