Do anyone know how hard it will be to ship cutting to Japan? It shouldn't be that hard to get them past customs right? Right now I'm back in Houston visting family and is getting ready to leave for Japan in a few days. I don't know how fast I could start growing figs again because I will be staying in a inn or dorm off base for some time. Until then if someone out there have some special figs that they are sharing I will pay to have some reserved until I'm able to have them.

Why not try and see how easy it is or not. Procure some cuttings of your choice. Keep them in the fridge until you are ready to depart. If you know your address then ship it to yourself  before the you depart, or have someone ship it to you when you know your address there.
