Becky, I've not had no problems here with rain. Like I said earlier,this Fig grows unbelievable compared to most of my other figs and makes a lot of fruit. : )

Thank for the review of all your figs. I gave this obe but it is only a foot tall with one fig in it. Does this variety turn black if let longer on tree ?

Richie, yes it turns  darker,  but not really Black here. Most of mine this year, are not turning real dark this year. : )

They,still look really nice :) just wondered about the name.

Yeah, I find that the blacks aren't always black.  I thought it was because most of my trees don't receive full sun, but I've seen this phenomenon with others posts as well.

 I like the purple stripes on yours.  Thanks for the review!
