I do love the fig plants with the long finger shaped leaves. Thought it might be fun for people to show some of their plants with the longest finger leaves. I will start it off......plant is only a couple months old.
This one is a youngin' too.
Sorry...should have mentioned what it is:) It is a ? I don't like unknowns but it was sent so planted it. Glad I did as I love the leaves, hope the fruit is good.
Here's a beautiful unk, one of my prettiest and most vigorous plants. Might be a mission based on photos I've seen of similar leaf pattern. This is new growth after dying back to the ground. Maybe next year I will see a more mature leaf. Edit-after looking at the open attachment, the picture is compressed looking and not nearly a long as the leaf really is. The unopened attachment pic is more the natural scale. I'm still learning how to add pictures, maybe I will always have problems using an iPhone... Mike in Hanover, VA

Colasanti #3 & colasanti #4
Beautiful leaves on #4, Nelson.
Nelson,They both are very nice but agree with Frank that #4 is spectacular.
Thanks Guys, I too like this particular tree. It has some figs but don't think they will ripen in time.Found another 2 photos of this fig, was labeled Italian fig "Brown Honey" sold by colasanti farms last year was the first time I seen this fig for sale.
Wills,I am shipping this one to you. If you are successful rooting let me know. I should have waited until dormant, but if this one doesn't take for you I have about 7 more, but it is getting tough typing;(
Use my famous rooting system with 100%, LOL
Strudeldog, It's good that you sent him one that already had nice calluses formed ;-)Jim
Could have made it a hot girls finger instead since I am going to grow the clone......bear in mind I prefer brunettes.
LOL, Ole Dr. Bigfingers!
Here is a Tissue Culture VdB that I purchased from Wellspring Nursery last fall. It was the size of 2 skinny tiny pencils. It went dormant in the winter and it was in my garage until the spring. I then put it into my home made SIP. It was a slow start and then took off like crazy and grew about 4 feet this summer and looks very healthy. There are 2 figs on it that I let be and they don't look like they will ripen this year.Either way its been a great start, and nice fingers
