GM#172

For who owns GM#172, I just gave it a name as 'Gozo Girl'.

Thanks.  I found this fig to have a very unique and pleasant flavor in 2015 but last year (in a new location in MD in full sun) it was not good at all.  Perhaps it is root bound and needs to be potted up.   Have you ever tried growing it in-ground in NJ?

Trees grown here in Northern California last year produced wonderfully rich, fruity tasting figs.  They impressed me enough to add several trees to the orchard.

Gorgi,

Thanks a very great flavored large fig. Figs the first year from cuttings also.

I started three more and gave one away.

I am starting a GM-175 now and looking at the 149a and 202 because this one was so good.

A top flavored juicy fig.

 Mike.

Very nice looking fig for sure... noticed that harvey is sold out of this one so it must be a winner...

Paid a visit to Gozo Girl earlier this evening! :)
