Going Down Memory Lane...

Some of you may have read about my 3 year old cuttings in other posts.  While looking at my own pictures has been nice, I just don't have anything that says what cuttings they are or could be.

So, I decided to look at my PM's!  Of course this occurred AFTER the PM upgrade and don't have my "sent" box, don't have the other person listed either.  I figured since I only have several pages let me look through them.

It has been time well spent!  Reading the threads about trades, gifts, Thanksgiving - Christmas of 2012 which is the time period a lot of the trades I made - the only offer I had was my families tree on Long Island.  Everyone was so nice, thoughtful and generous.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who is part of this forum and especially to those who traded cuttings, and traded other plant material I had for cuttings.

Aww, thats very nice JoAnn. It is a great forum because there are some very kind and very generous people:-)

Hi Jo-Ann,

Trees from cuttings you sent me are growing at our church, at the entrance to the parking area at my podiatrists office,  and in a friend's backyard in Sedona.  One or two more went to friends in pots and I have no feed back on them  Had one in my front yard but it didn't survive it's first cold winter here with a late hard frost. The tree in our little church orchard did survive that winter  and also being backed into by a friend's backhoe, and it produced the past  two years.  It is leafing out now already and we have high expectations of it this year.

Just wanted you to know how they are doing.

Thanks for the update Dave!  I have been wondering about them.  I lost my excel doc with all of the trade info on it!  I had a record of what was sent to me and what I sent to them.  POOF!!!!  Gone!  :(

So then I thought to myself "I could look at the PM messages and figure it out that way!"  Then the day after I thought of it the PM format changed and on the older messages it just has the topic and doesn't show the sender ARRGGHHHH!

Oh well, I hope whoever has them is enjoying them.
