I had  the first ripe Golden Celeste fig today, I did let it hang there until it was all wrinkled. The fig was very good, red inside, yellowish outside, very sweet. In fact, it was so good that I forgot to take a photo :)
There is a dozen more getting ripe, will post a pic in a day or two of the next one.
But it was so tiny, maybe a quarter in diameter and two in length… I would need several just to get a hang of the taste. 
I wish the figs were the size of a Brown Turkey, that be a heaven!

Hello, Yeah if only they would grow to that size...
I am letting my first fully ripe fig EVER in my life to eat at night and share it with 3 of my family. Ill cut it 4 pieces and we will taste it. Ill post a picture later of it for identification. I got the fig from Syria.

Collected one today. It fell into my hand, dead ripe. Very sweet, as expected. There are plenty more larger on the tree, should be ready in a few days.
