Today I went to my parents house to chat and have something to eat and my father and I took a walk around his garden. My father handed me my grandfathers grafting knife from when he owned jones nursery in freehold nj. My father told me I good enough for the grafting knife because 3 of my 6 graft atemps took this spring. But none of my budding attempts took so I can't get his budding knife.

well, you're doing better than I .... out of the 12 i grafted, 3 certainly took, 2 have since died, and another has just begin showing promise.  if i'm lucky, i may end up with 2/12 success.

Well you have luck rooting cuttings I haven't I lost every one this year. So atleast I have a 50% success with grafting lol
