Good for fig cuttings?

I found this at a gardener sale.   Aren't these perfect for starting cuttings, or not?  Never used them before.  The bottoms of them are cut out.

I have started them in these...no reason why those should not work (unless they are tiny).

I should have bought more of them.  They were only $3 per set.  I bought two sets.   No more cups falling over and I can see if the roots are growing from the bottom.

That's a good value. How deep and wide?

Each cone is 11" deep and 2.5" wide.   They must have had 50 of these for sale and I would have bought more, but the kids were acting up and we had to leave quickly.

Figfanatic,

@ $3 per set you stole those. Awesome deal.

One word of advice,
last year I ordered the square 10x2.5 pots from a supplier from Oregon.
Thinking the longer the stick the better chances I have. I was taking 12in cuttings and sticking them all the way in to better my chances. I was wrong.

So don't make the same mistake I made bud.

A two inch cutting stands the same chance a 2ft log.

Good luck and great find.
