Hi,

I am new to figs, but I always enjoy gardening. So far I only have 2 unnamed small fig plants in pots from a friend. 

I would love to hear some recommendations on good tasting figs suitable for central New Jersey which is zone 7a.

I would recommend Hardy Chicago, Negronne & Stella. You can't go wrong with these 3 and they are relatively easy to get.

Hmmmmm maybe those three will survive zone 6a. 

Since there are several NJ fig addicts on this forum, it should be pretty easy for you to connect and get some local wisdom.
