Good Temperature and Humidity Range for Good Growth of Plants inside the House?

Your input will be appreciated.

What is a good temperature range and humidity range for good growth of the newly rooted cuttings/plants inside the house.

Also, in your opinion, what will be the actual optimum temperature and humidity values to maintain for best growth?

Assume that the room temperature differs inside the houses depending on the thermostat setting in the winter.

Hi Ottawan,

I have kept these plants in the house since 12/22/08
the temps have been 74* in the daytime, then at bedtime it was set at 60*
The humidity has been from 20% to 90% typical East TX. humidity.
The plants in the picture are outside on the S. facing front porch enjoying 74*

I have some in the house yet, but they are not looking like they want to do anything???????

Martin, the plant nearest to you on the right is the H.C. you sent me thanks.

Herman, all the other plants are from you, VdB, Sal's Corleone and one Guilbeau.....BTW the bigger plant on the left side is my best Sal's C from you,Thanks to you also.

xgrnd,

Just being curious, but are the back trees wilty or it because you opened the lid a little to long.

Jose,

They might be somewhat wilty because I have not had a lid on them

lately, on top of all that the wind has been blowing like all get outs!

I guess I had better put a lid on em HUH?

Edit.....the lid is on Thanx

Cecil you have done a fine job rooting the sticks and i bet you look forward to tasting the different types in the future.

I have had plants growing from 20% to 99% humidity. At the low humidity range I find that the growth has slowed or nearly stopped. I use a water mist several times a day when very dry. After an acclimation period 2-3 weeks, I've seen new growth begin again (at low end humidity). At the high end, they grow very well (when small) but have a real hard time transitioning to ambient ranges (40%-60%). I  know this doesn't answer your question, but maybe compares to what you are seeing.

Thanks Martin,

I swear my H.C. has 2 little figlets trying to start?

Could be, you know in past i never payed attention to which of my trees would get them i just always picked em off. Usually when i first start bringing them out onto the driveway and before they actually go onto the patio is when its happened to me early on.
