Got a question about Col de Dame Gris!

The tree has had vigorous growth from the start of the season, I leven started it quite early in early march, and the figs have literally just started...why? It's my only tree that just started, I have RdB that I'll most likely be picking figs from in late July! So my question is will it produce viable figs for me? I'm in south NJ zone 7. I just figured I wouldn't get figs from it, but I have trees a quarter the size with 20 figs on them! This tree is now covered in figs, does anyone know the gestation on CdDG?
Thanks

I have one in the ground in Zone 8B and the figs start ripening in late September into October/November. Your figs look smaller than they should be for this time of year and not sure if the will have enough time to ripen in your zone.

Build a greenhouse to extend your season.  :)
