Got few cuttings today .

hello folks,

I got few cuttings from my friend today , they are not dormant cuttings as he cut them for me last week. Trimmed all the leaves and looks nice and healthy. What should I do? Shall I follow the sphagnum moss meathod? Or put them straight in well drained compost ? Our weather has warmed up now it's like 12-17 degree Celsius at night and around 20 during the day , but it is getting warmer tho as we are approaching summer. I don't want to loose them cuttings. I would really appreciate any help .
Thanks
Vinny

Bass has a good tutorial on his website:

Short answer: Cut all but one leaf off. Cut that leaf in half. Use rooting hormone. Well drained compost will work. Cover with a plastic bag to keep humidity high.

Are the cuttings new green growth from this year or last years lignified wood?
If the cuttings are last year's wood (lignified) you can root them as per your normal process.
Now that it is summer you probably don't have a lot of free time so you could just put them in the ground in a prepared shaded area.  If it gets hot and dry you can put a glass jar over them.
Good luck

Hello,

It came with no leaves, but thanks for the link, I did the same . instead of plastic bags i put them all in a transparent box.
