Greek Kephlonia

Almost ready.

Attractive and unique looking fig. It looks like a main crop and not a breba, am I correct?

Is that the Kephlonia Red-Red, Large Greek (BC#80)?
George (NJ).

I'm jealous. Your figs are about ready, mine are just starting.

Yes, main crop. Yes BC#80.

Hello Jon,
My Greek Kephlonia also has a nice crop of figs growing, and the shape is interesting. Mine will need  more time to ripen. I am curious about the leaf shape. Does yours have slender finger shaped leaves similar but small than the White Greek fig?

a small correction - kephalonia

Leaves look more like slender Celeste leaves - not similar to White Greek. Flavor nothing to write home about, either, BUT it is the first year. Flavor closer to Capelas or Rattlesnake Island - which look similar in color and shape, as well.
