Anyone else have any experience with this fig?

My tree is in it's third season and first time I will sample these figs.





Hopefully it will be ready to pick in another day or two.

I'm growing a few trees in my area. I should have figs next year.

Temps are dropping every night here but this Shoukd be ripe shortly, I had to move my trees against the house because some as$@!le kept stealing my ripe figs.

OMG, extremely sweet aromatic one of the best figs this season definately earned a spot.

Very syrupy, wish I could described it better but my taste buds just got a whopping.

Beautiful figs again Nelson, always nice to see that syrup inside, do you notice any correlation with syrup inside and great tasting figs?

James so far any fig I had this season that was syrupy was great tasting. I have allot of plants in 2 gallon pots that are root bound and it's tough when I know they require water but yet it will affect the taste.

Could this be weather related? I know figs that ripened in late aug and early sept were not that juicy.

Kind of weird how the cool nights has been making the figs taste fantastic maybe the trees know winter is near and want to ripen its fruits?

Sucks big time for me. All my Kelphonia figs ruptured due to almost constant Sept rain. Its
unusual for Sept to have this much rain.

Hmm its looking good, but I see there are many verities in figs which we don't see commonly. Anyhow your figs are looking good, thanks for sharing their photos. I like them.

Nice pics, great looking fig. I've never heard of t his variety. Seems most Greek figs are winners though

Is it a honey fig, or a fig other than berry flavor?
