I shaped a few trees this weekend. Since the majority are green or just starting to lignify, I had intended to toss them into the compost bin. I know that some of you prefer to and like to root green cuttings...Here is what I have:
- Gino's Black. One bundle. Four cuttings. Two have one+ year old wood.
- Sal's Corleone. Two maybe three bundles. Four to six cuttings in each bundle. All will have some hardened wood and a 6"-8" piece of a 1/2" thick sucker.
- Smith and Gino's Black. One bundle. About ten cuttings. The cuttings got mixed up...What can I say, I was all set to compost. Cuttings are mostly green.
PM if interested.
