Found a couple  of these this morning! Man, are they good. I love this Fig, but it's very hard for me to explain the taste on this one..Last year, it was my Favorite Fig and a pretty good contender this year..

Great looking fig my friend. It looks like a medium size fig...???... I recently found a great tasting fig in my area. Not sure if it got pollinated which enhanced the taste.

Hey coop very good question. I went back to my eBay history and found out I got the small GG  tree from a eBay seller named cowboyflowerman in 2013, he still is a seller of household plants. So, I emailed him through eBay with the "contact seller" and ask him the history of the Tree. Hopefully, he will remember where he obtained the original tree, waiting to hear from him.

The seller from eBay answered my question..Sorta...

Dear frankallen,

Another rabid fig collector brought it from Greece years ago and a friend of mine got a cutting. I rooted all of mine from his big tree. I have furnished a plant of it to a tissue lab and soon there should be many on the market.

Hi Frankallen,
Nice fig !
With that strain, is the tree supposed to get big or stay small ( under 2m/7' of heigh) ?
Is cold weather coming your way too ? It  is starting to get chilly here so close to end of the fresh figs season.

Hi Frank.
That's a beautiful looking fig, enjoy it, I have a green Greek fig that I don't remember where I got it from, I hope it's the same as yours.
