Absolutely wonderful. Much better then I expected. Currently on a diabetic sugar high. weee! Here's an interesting story - I guess. In 07 I went to an Apple tasting at Monticello. At that time I had some impressive orchards - especially heirloom apples. After the tasting was over while I was waiting for my main squeeze to use the powder room I noticed a fig tree with ripe figs. After eating several handfuls I told my girl friend the apples, etc. were done. It was time for figs. Anyway I stopped by Monticello today to give them a new fig for their historic collection - (I'll post about that later). Well - these came from that tree. My original love affair with a fig. I have several of these at home but this is the bounty from "the tree". thx for listening.mgg

Looks great, Mike. Thanks for posting them!
Thanks for the pics and story. My Green Ischia is only about 18" tall so I'll have to wait a bit but it looks like the wait will be worth it!
Definitely a nice looking fig.
I noticed the first one starting to ripen on my little tree today, so I'm excited to give it a try!
Man,I wish I could age all my trees by 3 years! I think the grass green figs with red pulp are just drop dead gorgeous.Bob,What is your avatar a picture of?
Several years ago conditions were favorable for an aurora borealis to come down as far as Kansas City, where I was. I headed out to a lake in a dark sky area but the aurora struck while I was on my way. Not knowing how long it would last I got out of my car and started shooting. Then I photoshopped a dolphin leaping on the aurora background. It's titled Tursiops Lux! I learned to predict auroras here
Can I see a bigger copy?
Look sweet..Is it sweeter than Black Ischia..?
