--- Green Oakdale Unk. main (PIX)

I got a cutting from a tree last year just to see if it roots. It was growing on a public street but planted. Well, fast forward 1 year, now I have a tree myself in a 5 gal pot.
I have never had any problems rooting the local figs and this was not any different.

The figs are huge. Very juicy although are hollow inside, very sweet, no crunch.
The skin was a bit tough but maybe because it needed a few more days, it was sweet too. It has a slightly open eye but it’s a no big deal. I had breba too but some vermin got them first.

I am not asking to ID this fig (although if anybody has any hints, would appreciate them).
Almost all my previous attempts to ID a CA grown figs failed since this fig will probably look different while grown in the non-wasp states.

Enjoy!

I like it. i  am sure someday you will know what it is... as I am finding out, even when labeled, they can mess their names and you end with something you did not know.

It is a nice looking fig, huge, and thankfully the open eye is not problematic. Keep us updated and if you have photos of the plant and leaves, please post, thanks.

Thanks all!

Please see the leaf photos attached. They are mostly 3 and 1 lobed.
Very few have 5 lobes.
