Grotek Grow Bags vs Nursery Pots

Has anyone used these?  I'd say they are dirt cheap, but they are much cheaper than the dirt you put in  them. lol

It says they are fluted with pre-punched drain holes.  Wonder if they are set on the ground, if the roots could grow out and into the ground.

jd, Herman use's these type of bags. He will put in very loose soil, so when he goes to sell the plant the only thing there is to do is dig out and ship. The roots grow out and the plant is better condition.

I used a different brand of bag years ago for bananas. Still had to have a pot to put them in, but didn't have to figure the price of the pot into the plant. he bags were cheaper.

I just got my order for 1 gallon Root Pouch containers in last night. They are a combination of reclaimed fabric and recycled plastic woven together. Today I potted up 9 cuttings in them. So far, after one day, I really like them. I got the 18-24 month variety.

James, either your photo is upside down or those bags have some anti-gravity properties!

I'm still working out the peculiarities of interacting with this forum through an Ipad.  On the Ipad, the small picture is upside down.  When I click on it, the larger picture is right side up.
