Huh. I wonder if he really meant to say water daily with Miracle Gro, or if that was a misprint?

 That sure sounds like a lot to me!

I read that too!

There is no way the tree isn't getting 'cooked' by that amount. Not even Miracle gro suggests anything more than a tablespoon and a half per gallon of water, once a week.

Most suggest stopping the fertiler in mid August to stop stimulating the tree and allow it to slow down for dormancy.
