I have updated the Propagating section of Growing Tips at Figs 4 Fun, to consolidate many things which I have posted this year about seedlings, grafting, taking cuttings, suckers, and air-layering. I hope to add more to the section on seedlings when I get time to sort through a pile of e-mails and other materials, covering such topics as breeding, and persistence in caprifigs.

Russo, it is important to graft when the rootstock is actively growing. Other than that, it seemed pretty simple sand straight forward.
