I started my venture from nearby Visalia Ca. I went to a fruit stand that sold
me some last year at 3 dollars a pound. Well he jacked up the price to 4 dollars 
a pound. I wasn't upset because I was on adventure to Fresno to see what they
had. Well I bought some at 2.50 a pound and they were good. She is advertising
in the Fresno Craigslist if you live nearby.....I can't wait for my figs to be ready.

Be glad you live in a place where figs can be easily grown.  I paid $.75 per fig at a grocery store up here in Maryland back in November.  That did encourage me to plant figs of my own though due to the price so I guess it wasn't all bad.
