HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY  !!!

Happy 4th.

So far today is 81f but was forecast to be 108f. Well, it is not noon yet. It was around 108f or most yesterday. It might be cooler on the 4th.

Happy Independence Day to everyone. Hope everyone has good weather tomorrow for all the festivities. Most all fireworks and other
events have been either cancelled or postponed due to the storms and flooding in the Atlanta area. Enjoy the day.

Darn.. Some last year locations cancelled the fireworks this year :(
It is getting less and less fun to do the things we used to do. When I was a kid in the last century, the time was clearly different!

Happy 4th of July!!

I agree with Pattee, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY  !!!

"gene"

this is very disappointing:

Geez.. I am speechless ...

Wow, I didn't know that was possible.

Happy 4th everyone!

Re: Video....

I am not surprised at all.  These same brain-dead morons VOTE !!!!!! .......and the results are what we have now, running/ruining our once, great, country.

Happy Independence Day!!!

Been in this great country for 38 years.
I was a little kid when we left the old country. This day is just as important to an immigrant as it is to anyone born here.
There many reasons I can say why this is such a great country but I will name one.
"This is the Land of the Free".

Many things are taken for granted here. I guess not many take the time to go out and see how others are living in other countries. I know for a fact things aren't stable where I'm from.

But this country opened its' arms and embraced me. And allowed me to live free and VOTE!
This has been my home most of my life, this is where I will die. A free man with dignity.

Happy 4th of July everyone and BUY AMERICAN!!!

HERE, HERE Rafed !!!!!

Well said,Rafed. This is my wife's first independence day as a US citizen

Happy 4th. to everyone...I had two elderly Egyptian gentlemen over last evening to purchase some fig trees...as they were leaving they wished me a "Happy 4th of July", and they told me of the relatives that they still have in Egypt and of the instability in that country...they have been living in the USA since 1987 and are both now naturalized citizens...after they left I was thinking how much I take for granted living in a country with the freedoms that we have...from time to time I get reminded of just how fortunate I am to be living in the USA.

The 4th of July. Arguably the most important date in all of history. The beginning of the "exceptional nation": the nation that is the exception among all others; the nation has been a beacon of freedom and light to the rest of the world; the nation funded on the divine right of the people, not the king.

It is shameful that so many people, as the video evidence clearly shows, are clueless about where we came from, the sacrifices made to achieve our freedoms, and how uniquely blessed we are to enjoy this exceptional nation. As mentioned earlier, these same clueless people are clueless when they vote to throw away those freedoms, when they don't make the effort to inform themselves about the great country which they enjoy.

I have 3 countries embedded deep in my soul: Italy where I was born and later studied medicine, Canada where I grew up, and the States, the place I chose to work and live for the rest of my life. I love all three. Happy 4rth America.

Preach it brother Jon. Preach it.

Makes me proud to be in the Military!!!

If you don't mind my asking, but what's everyone country of origin? I didnt know we had so many members for other countries.

It is a shame that people take the liberties allowed by this great nation and desecrate it with them..

Happy 4th of July,  remember...WE the people,   Freedom,  Liberty.....Thanks to all who sacrificed for this country
