First night of hard freeze 25 degrees tonight and tomorrow. Spent last weekend repotting and covering figs in the yard.  Sad that some still have green figs on the, :-(

We are bracing for 12F tonight.

This arctic air is fun stuff....  We're at 20 right now here in Maine and I think it'll get to something like 17 tonight.  All my figs are safely in except for some seedlings who will sink or swim this winter outside (near 100% chance they'll sink).  My potted figs saw a low of 22 this fall before I brought them in.  It only stung some new growth on one variety I was growing, everyone else looked unscathed.

Bracing for 81 degrees in San Diego tomorrow... I have to admit, this is not normal!

We will be in the high 20's the next 2 nights here in northeast Texas.  I put all of my trees in the unheated shed on the east side of our garage and covered them with leaves and pine needles.  I hope they all survive.

15 degrees F this morning....with wind chill = 4 degrees F.  Glad to be inside :)

Be careful what may look like little damage now cause of freezing temps will show what really happened come spring.  ; )

Well, it was 24 degrees here this morning so I would say that winter is way down here also.
