Hardy Chicago

Brought in plants just a while ago and as i was setting the Hardy Chicago down from the hand truck right there in my face at eye level i saw this leaf with slight reddish tone in veins . I may or may not have seen this in years past . I did not want to bust in on the other thread about red veins .

i am seeing redness in the tips of some of my figs that are growing quickly.

Mee tooo, moreso than I have witnessed before and even on different trees now, used to just be the Chieti, now its on the Natalina and Valle Negra as well, lots on Valle Negra?

This is interesting wonder if its weather related.

in fact, my nataline is red tipped now.

Martin Martin Beautiful Picture. I thought maybe it was the fertilizer I added when I re potted but only one variety showed this for me as my leaves mature the red is gone

Only a few types of mine have shown the reddish tint VdB, negretta, dark portuguese, and negretta which this particular one also shows it in the leaf stems as well.
My other fig plants have not shown this .

Edit: the Negretta does not show the red in leaf stems until late spring early summer.

For me only Marseilles VS is showing the red coloration on new leaves.

Leaf stems are now reddish as they were not in spring and has very small figs at this point.
