Hardy Chicago?

This is my Hardy Chicago that I bought at Lowes last year.  Looking for confirmation that the variety is correct.  Looks like the pictures I've seen.  Picked several this morning they really needed another 2-3 days to ripen but I'm flying out to Chicago this afternoon on business and didn't want to chance them not being here when I get back.  They taste sort of watery/bland (it has rained all week here) but still good tasting, I attribute the taste to slightly under ripe and all the rain we have had.

So excited, these are my first figs for the year.

Tim,

Appears to be Brown Turkey from what I can see of the fruit and leaf combo.

Tim I have a true HC and your leaves don't look like Hardy Chicago to me. Compare with my pictures.

yeah, the leaves on mine look like tony's

Leaves will not match even if the same because Tony's tree is still growing while Tim's stopped a month ago. I could show you the same phenomenon with Gino's Black.

Nice tree...nice figs...nice air layers...good luck with all your trees

Tim,
Thanks for posting pictures and commentary.
More leaf pictures may dispel any doubts or confusion. The tree seems to have the correct leaves, but the pictures are not completely clear. The single leaf doesn't seem to have enough distinguishing traits for Hardy Chicago.
Here are a few leaf pictures for 4 different trees at different stages of growth. Tree #1 (pictures 1 and 2) is the oldest (2nd year) and has a few dozen figs at the stagnant stage. Trees #2 and #3 (2nd year) are re-growing from roots due to winter die-back, #4 is 6 months old, and newly introduced to full sunlight. Hope this helps.
