Hardy Kiwi cuttings "issai" - self fertile

Trying to pay it forward.... Allegedly the best time to take hardy kiwi cuttings is July.  Im happy to offer them to anyone on the forum who wants them.  The source is Monrovia.

That's kind of you.  How long does it take to bear fruit?  I've heard 10 years for some female kiwis!

Issai is a unique arctic kiwi. It's self fertile and bears fruit in as little as 2 years vs 7-10 for other kiwi  BLB is growing them and if I recall his are in year 3 and putting out fruit. Allegedly af full production it can put out 50-100 lbs of fruit. One of the 2 Monrovias I bought last week has fruit on it already.

Meaning support it well or suffer the consequences.  The 1x2 you use for your tomatoes wont cut it here   :)

Im going to have 5. 3 issai, 1 Anna, and 1 male meaDer. Im using 2 4x4 concreted in with 2x4 t's. I think rafed has his just growing on a pergola. You can make these whatever size you want with corresponding fruitproduction.

Hi,
I'm new here, and I'd love to grow some hardy kiwis.
How do I go about finding starter plants, which I'd prefer,
or cuttings if they're easy to start also.
I live near Beckley, WV
