This year, the Celeste which came from an older plant got ripe earlier than the improved Celeste. A very affordable fig is Violette de Bordeaux (Negronne).It's was the most productive first year fig tree for me this summer. I started it in the spring from a cutting that I bought on eBay and up there on my list of must have figs.
