Has winters grip been broken

Looks like a whole week of above freezing temperature this week.  Maybe time to permanently move figs out of cellar.

I was just thinking the same thing Tom , but there is still so much snow piled against the barn basement door that I can't take out the 25 gallon pots until that's gone in a few more days.
The smaller pots I can take up the stairs to the driveway.
Time to uncover the in ground Florea as well.

I just moved 19 pots outside.  Do or die time!

I just moved mine out yesterday, maybe have to move some in and out end of the week.

Sings.........We're Almost There!!

We always have 4-6 weeks of 70s but the last 10 days of April it snows and nights are in the low 30s.  I do everything I can to keep my figs asleep

Today they got beat up by the wind.

We are supposed to get a blizzard here starting tonight and tomorrow, 8-16" depending where you are. That'll probably be heading towards you guys in just under a week.  Happy spring :)

all my figs are outdoor now. from here one out, night temp is above 50. from 1 gal to 10 gal, i think i have total of 52 out there. 14 more will join them in about a month or so along with 1 mulberry tree.. unless other mulberry trees and hardy kiwis decide to join them.

Yikes a blizzard ,  send south.  ; )
Yes winters grip broke but still trying to scare.
All plants out today and it poured like the dickens with siren warnings going off then sun came out as there is the Cub home opener today then more rain later.

Some plants that are displaying buds near opening some may open today, our small mulberry plant doing same with buds almost open .

Small plants came in garage last night larger ones stood outdoors.
Later this week calls for frost nights so everything comes in .
