Wow! Is this the one?

"Very thick flavored fig with berry accents multiple colored pulp. MOSTLY SINGLE LOBED LEAVES
History. .......
Found this tree in a gypsy compound in Louisiana. .
THEY HAVE LIVED HERE LONGER THEN ME & I HAVE BEEN IN LOUISIANA SINCE 1972. DONT KNOW IF THEY BROUGHT IT WITH THEM FROM THERE COUNTRY . MOST OF THEM DONT SPEAK ENGLISH. THEY ARE CIRCUS PERFORMERS AND PROVIDE RIDES . PARKED BEHIND THEIR HUGE FENCE ARE ALL KIND OF SPINNING RIDES FARRIS WHEELS. FUNNEL CAKE STANDS WAITING FOR THEIR NEXT STATE FAIR. VERY UNAPPROACHABLE PEOPLE. TOOK ME AWHILE TO GET THIS ONE."

Have you compared it to smith?

Check out my post about my White Texas Everbearing. The figs look a lot alike but the the leaf pattern not sure.

What you have thereis alma. Its a grate fig too. I ha e that one. Little bit smaller then this one i found. It has multi colored pulp and mostly single lobed leaves. Do you have ripe fruit pic ?

Read my link in previous post. There are photos of ripe fig.

It's not Alma. I would post pics of my Alma leaves but posting pictures are a bit troublesome for me. Anyhow, the Alma leaves are more deeply lobed.

I don't have any trees old enough to take cuttings, but I'd be happy to purchase some cuttings.

Thanks,

Andy
