Have Violette De Bordeaux figs and live in SFV/LA area?

Anyone with Violette De Bordeaux figs that live in the San Fernando Valley or Los Angeles area?  I would like to plant this variety in my yard but first would like a taste of this fig.
So if you are willing to let me sample a couple please let me know and thank you.

Hi TM,
I am from LA and have a VdB but no figs to sample. It is a second or so year plant and I ate 2 figs a week ago.
They were exceptional for a young plant.
In general, the figs love the climate and will grow just fine, provide all the sun you can and plenty of water.
The VdB likes an afternoon shade though, when the sun is going crazy. You still can keep it all day under the sun but the leaves will be twisted and shriveled.
I don't know if that affects the fruit quality.

I grew up in Woodland Hills. Plant the tree. You will not be sorry.
Or drive to San Diego Saturday and try one.

Trust me, SFV area is perfect for VdB and most other varieties! Mild winters, somewhat hot summers, they thrive there! PM me if you need VdB plants. I got almost 8 extras!

Great Tasting Fig.....love the difference they all have....... a lot of people like the Panache....its pretty good and looks different......I like the Black Mission taste personally...
My VDB did not do to good this year....oh well.
