Just left Lowes in Manahawkin, NJ. Bought 2 Hardy Chicago for $11 each. Nice trees in 1 gal. pots. Had about 75 left.

Good job Danny. These end of season specials are always pretty good. Good chance to pick up a few larger trees for a good price. Last Fall, we picked up about three or four nice sized Celeste trees. They looked sad, but some quick TLC, repotting, a splash of some MG and they bounced right back. We picked some really nice figs from those trees this year. Best of luck with those trees!

I wonder if the Brooklyn Lowe's has HC....

Give them a call. Guy in the garden center in NJ said they're gone just as fast as they come in. While I was there, I went to the Home Depot in Manahawkin to see if they had any. Girl there said they sold out within a few days.

Did they only have Hardy Chicagos? I'm looking for other nice fig types now.  I bought one last year also from Lowes and its struggles a big past spring. I've repotted it just yesterday so I hope it takes off, at least for next year. 

All I saw was HC

Dont know about other Lowe's, but they have them in the Greensburg, PA store for the same price.  They did not have them early ir mid summer.  They have only Hardy Chicago, plants looked pretty healthy.

All they have had at my Lowes and ND has been Brown Turkey....
