HC (Inground Espalier)

I got this tree on May 6,2011 for $1.00 at Lowe's. That spring was so hot and dry they could not water them enough. The leaves were dry up and the tree looked dead. I put it into a SW pot and started to train it. On May 27,2013 it went into the ground. It is now 7' long 46" tall. This is what I pick and what it look like yesterday.

If you look hard you may see some honey dripping, the plate was wet with honey after I ate them all. I got a sugar rush. (Needed a drink of water.) They were that sweet and had some crunch.

Thanks for looking,
Bugs

Very nice looking tree.   Mine is about a year old and is still ripening figs.  You give me something to look forward to.

Nice job rescuing the suffering tree, and thanks for the excellent pix.
